CTD provides the customer with complete electronic mold design data and hard copies of mold drawings upon completion of the tool. There is no extra charge for providing this information to the customer.
CTD engineering design optimizes the tooling design for maximum performance. This includes all components, runners, gates, and cooling circuits. CTD uses solid modeling & 3 dimensional design & detailing, reducing the machining time the mold spends on the manufacturing floor, thereby reducing tooling cost.

Preliminary mold design will contain a minimum of 4 views:
- core half plan view
- cover half plan view
- assembly length section
- assembly width section

Final Mold Design |
Most final mold designs will include all views included in the preliminary design as well as detail sheets for the following: |
- core plate
- cavity plate
- ejector box
